Getting your wisdom teeth out is definitely no joke, especially for a foodie! I must say though, it made me think out of the box when it came it eating! Below are a few superfood smoothie recipes that are packed with flavor, but also protein and nutrients to prevent any crash through the day!Superfood Smoothies

The Green Monster- Superfood Smoothie

This superfood smoothie is so filling that I eat it as a meal. It’s filled with vital nutrients like protein, potassium, iron, calcium, and heart-healthy fats.

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of kale
  • 1/2 of an avocado
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacoa
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of chia

INSTRUCTIONS
1.Place all ingredients in a blender.
2.Blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Pour into a tall glass.

Superfood SmoothieA Cup of Love- Superfood Smoothie

This is my favorite superfood smoothie I have made so far! I added bee pollen as a great source of protein. Bee pollen is said to harbor every nutritional element that the human body needs for survival. The smoothie gives the flavor of chocolate cherry, it’s to die for!

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 1 tablespoon raw cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon bee pollen
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

INSTRUCTIONS
1.Place all ingredients in a blender.
2.Blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Pour into a tall glass.
